The dependable everyday control
For a job that needs a reliable thermostat and nothing it does not. A much larger blue display, and adjustable temperature limits with an installer lock: a quiet workhorse for rentals and light commercial space.

Finally: a universal wireless thermostat kit
The battery-powered wall thermostat talks to a module at the equipment over Braeburn's BlueLink wireless link, so in most installs no new wire is needed. A return air sensor keeps default control if the thermostat batteries go flat. Compatible with systems that previously ran selected Honeywell, Emerson and Pro1 thermostats.

FAQ
Braeburn thermostat questions
What is the difference between the 1030 and the 8500?
The 1030 is a non-programmable single-stage control for straightforward installs. The 8500 is a wireless kit for heat pumps, multi-stage plant and difficult wiring, with programmable scheduling, remote sensors and commercial mode.
Does the 8500 need wiring at the thermostat?
No, and that is the point of it. The wall thermostat runs on batteries and communicates wirelessly with a control module mounted at the equipment, so in most installs no new thermostat wire is required.
What happens if the thermostat batteries die?
A return air sensor at the equipment module keeps the system under default control, so the building does not lose heating or cooling while someone finds a battery.
Can the 8500 replace another brand's thermostat?
In many cases, yes. It is compatible with systems that previously used selected Honeywell, Emerson and Pro1 thermostats.
Do they work with heat pumps?
Both do. The 1030 covers single-stage conventional and heat pump systems, and the 8500 covers up to 3 heat / 2 cool on heat pumps.
